The project involves the removal, transportation, and off-site disposal of wastewater sludge from the Borough's aerated sludge holding tank over a period of three years, with an estimated weekly volume of 13,000 gallons. It includes all ancillary work necessary for completion, whether or not specifically described in the contract documents. Bids must be submitted on the standard form provided in the contract documents, in a sealed envelope indicating the name and address of the bidder and the project title. Each bid must include all documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist and a bid guarantee of at least ten percent of the total bid price (not to exceed $20,000), in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, made payable to The Borough of Riverton. Bidders must comply with all specified state laws and regulations. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions if it is in their interest to do so. Any bid with material nonconformities or which is materially nonresponsive will be rejected. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder unless all bids are rejected.
