Site work and paving for a road / highway in Elkhart, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
Supply and install complete Accessible Pedestrian Signal (APS) systems at six signalized intersections according to the "Proposed Guidelines for Pedestrian Facilities in the Public Right-of-Way" (PROWAG). The specified APS systems shall be the Polara iNS3 model, as outlined in the attached cut sheet. Installation will include all necessary components and work to ensure full operational capability, including push buttons, control units, wiring, and mounting hardware, as per manufacturer specifications and ADA compliance standards. Project locations are at specific scattered sites throughout the city. Any deviation from the bid documents must be explained by the bidder. Bids must be submitted on State Board of Accounts 2013 REVISED BID FORM 96. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Elkhart or a satisfactory bid bond in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
