Site work for a water / sewer project in Elkhart, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The scope of work consists of construction of a new GCCS header pipe, condensate sumps, valves, and other associated improvements. Instructions to bidders include: sealed bids must be submitted by the deadline; a mandatory pre-bid meeting must be attended; the bid package including detailed plans and specifications will be available at a specified location and electronically; all project inquiries must be directed in writing to a designated contact; proposals must be submitted with Form No. 96 as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts; bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the title and bidder's information; a bid bond of five percent of the bid amount must accompany the bid; no bids can be withdrawn after opening without consent; bids may be held for up to ninety days; the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder subject to funding approval; the Board reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids.
