Site work for a development in Elkhart, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade development.
The project consists of the construction of a new composite lined waste disposal area as part of a landfill cell expansion. The scope of work includes excavation, installation of a compacted clay liner, an HDPE plastic liner, a geotextile, and a leachate drainage layer with pumping system. Additional associated work such as access roads and stormwater management are also included. Bids must be submitted sealed, with Form No. 96 prescribed by the State Board of Accounts, and accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bids may be held up to ninety (90) days and will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, subject to funding approval. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive irregularities in the bidding and to reject any or all bids.
