This bid is for furnishing to the Department of Water and Power, cable, fiber optic 24 & 48 OM1 series and OM3 Aqua, as may be ordered during a period of one year with two one-year renewal options beginning with the effective date of the contract, in accordance with the bid specifications and other identified documents. Bidders should submit complete bids on all items, as any award will include all items in a single contract and will be made to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder based on the lowest ultimate cost to the Department. Bids are subject to acceptance for 90 days. All forms required at bid submittal, upon request, and important bid documents for download are located on the "Vendor Checklist" page of the ERSP system. Required forms must be downloaded and electronically submitted prior to the bid closing date and time by creating a bid response in the ERSP system. Vendors quoting other than manufacturers specified in line item descriptions must supply a sample by bid closing for test and evaluation by the Department's Development and Standards Engineering group. Samples shall be provided at no cost and accompanied by required documentation. Failure to provide a sample may deem a bid non-responsive. Bidders may offer any material or process which is the equivalent of that specified. Prices or discounts shall be firm for 90 days and include applicable tariffs. Delivery will be accepted at specified times and the contractor shall provide delivery tickets and invoices as required. All questions shall be submitted through the ERSP "Q&A" section of the bid. Any contract awarded may be terminated by the Department upon thirty days written notice without cause. Assignment of contract is prohibited without prior written consent of the Department.
