This tender excludes door-to-door collection and waste transport services to the delivery location. Disposal services include, but are not limited to: Incineration; Pyrolysis; Energy recovery; The sorting and arrangement of materials; The burying. These services include: a. The weighing of waste at the entrance to the disposal site b. The reception of waste, transported by semi-trailer truck; c. Storage of materials, if applicable; d. The disposal of residual materials; e. The valorization or disposition of the outputs from the disposal process, if the chosen solution is an energy recovery or a sorting solution; f. The treatment of leachable material in accordance with the Regulation respecting landfill and incineration of residual materials (Q-2, r. 19), if the chosen solution is landfilling. A weighting factor will be applied to account for the distance between the RCM transfer centre and the disposal site. In order not to disadvantage more distant disposal sites, the bidder may propose the transfer of materials to a transhipment centre as a delivery site. In this case, the distance would be applied between the RCM transfer centre and the transhipment centre g. The reception at the transhipment station; h. The transport of waste to the disposal site. The requested services shall commence on 1 February 2026 and end on 31 December 2028 (35 months). A six-month renewal option may be applied.
