Remodeling of a mixed-use development in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the remodel of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Request for proposals to replace or refurbish the existing custom cafeteria train booths at the Ardmore Child Development Center. Pictures of existing booths will be provided upon request. The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify a supplier that can provide the most comprehensive and cost-effective solution to either Replace or Refurbish the Custom Cafeteria Train Booths at the Ardmore Child Development Center (Ardmore ). There are 22ea. booths and 39ea. cushions total required. Included for reference are images of some of the existing booths. The selected supplier will be evaluated based on overall best value, including quality, functionality, durability, and cost, as outlined in the following requirements. Provide comprehensive proposal as follows to Replace or Refurbish the following: 10ea. Single Booths (10ea. Rectangular Cushions) 11ea. Double Booths (22ea. Rectangular Cushions) 1ea. L-Shaped Booth (1ea. L-Shaped Cushion) 6ea. Rectangular Cushions for Attic Stock General Requirements and Scope of Work a) Replace: Provide cost of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to fabricate and install new booths to match the specifications of the existing booths in design, dimensions, color, finish, and detailing. b) Refurbish: Provide cost of all materials, equipment, and labor necessary to refurbish and install the existing booths; Refurbishing consists of repainting the entire booths and fabricating new cushions to match the existing booths and cushion specifications in design, dimensions, color, finish, and detailing and, stabilizing the booths to eliminate wobbling. c) Cushions: To be fabricated using soft, high-density foam that provides comfortable support for children without the risk of bottoming out and shall be upholstered in commercial-grade, durable vinyl with a minimum of 100,000 double rubs, ensuring long-term wear resistance. Upholstery/Vinyl must be cleanable, anti-microbial, and fire-retardant, and all foam materials must also be fire-retardant to meet applicable safety standards. d) Paint: All booths must be finished using organic paint with zero or low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), ensuring suitability and safety for children's environments. The supplier must clearly state the brand, type, and full technical specifications of the proposed paint to be used, including VOC content and relevant safety certifications or compliance with environmental standards. e) Tables: Existing tables are to be excluded from the new and refurbished proposals. f) Method, Duration and Timeline: Describe in detail your proposed method, duration and timeline required to complete each Scope of Work, to replace or refurbish the booths and cushions. g) Work and Installation Timeframes: Ardmore is flexible regarding when the work can be performed. The cafeteria closes daily at 2:30 p.m. and can also be closed for a full day or two if needed. h) Waste/Debris Removal: The supplier shall remove and properly dispose of all debris, waste materials, and excess supplies resulting from the work. The site shall be left in a clean and orderly condition upon completion. All disposals shall comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. i) Protection Requirement: Work must protect the Chickasaw Nation's assets, facility, employees, visitors, patrons, and children at all times at the Ardmore Child Development Center. j) Payment Terms: Provide payment terms. k) Warranty: Provide warranty on materials and workmanship.
