Downes Construction Company, LLC acting as Construction Manager on behalf of Area Cooperative Educational Services (ACES) will receive bids for individual bid packages for alterations to the ACES AT Chase School located at 565 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. The scope of work includes: Final Cleaning, Selective Demolition & Abatement, Cast-In-Place Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Architectural Woodwork, Roofing, Drywall, Doors, Frames & Hardware, Aluminum Frames, Entrances, Metal Panels, Acoustical Ceilings, Flooring, Painting, Specialties, Food Service Equipment, Elevators, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Communications and Fire Alarm, and Sitework/Landscaping. Bids must be submitted in duplicate at the ACES Staff Development Building, 205 Skiff Street, Hamden, Connecticut, Attention Downes Construction Company, LLC. Question Deadline 01/08/2026 at 12:00 PM ET All questions regarding bidding procedures, bidding documents and construction procedures are to be directed in RFI form to the Construction Manager at aceschasebid@downesco.com. The RFI submission deadline is five (5) business days prior to the bid due date at 12 noon EST. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The projected duration is February 2026 to October of 2028.
