Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Bell Gardens, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 1,120-square-foot residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
Demolition of Buildings and Site Clearance at 6303 Pine Avenue, Bell, CA. 90201. The City of Bell is seeking bids for this work. Bids must be submitted through the procurement portal by the specified deadline. Prospective Bidders must visit the City's OpenGov portal and register as a new vendor in OpenGov in order to download Contract Documents, including Instructions to Bidders, plans and specifications, to receive addenda and notifications when issued, and to submit a bid. SCOPE OF WORK In general, the work to be performed or executed under these specifications consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the contract documents and conforming to the special provisions. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Pre-demolition hazardous material abatement, demolition of buildings and building slabs, foundations, removal of vegetation and landscaping, on-site utilities, including underground utilities, backfill and compaction of excavated areas for removal of foundations, backfill, compaction and grading of work site, haul-away and proper disposal of all demolished and removed materials and complete cleanup of the work area. It is the intent of this contract to have a Contractor supply all materials and equipment for the Demolition of Buildings and Site Clearance at 6303 Pine Avenue, Bell, CA. 90201, and other appurtenances in accordance with these SPECIFICATIONS and PLANS and in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public Work Constructions (SSPWC) latest edition.
