The project generally consists of removing six existing RTUs and related components while retaining most existing ductwork, then furnishing and installing six new RTUs with curb adapters and new rooftop gas piping. Work includes installing two new VAV boxes, supply and return ductwork, three exhaust fans, three transfer grilles, and ten new supply/return diffusers with volume dampers. All equipment will be integrated into the existing BMS, with full startup and testing, and electrical scope includes demolition and installation of all required power and control components. For the alternate bid, the contractor will partially demolish the existing HVAC system-including split condensers, VAVs, thermostats, and select ductwork and diffusers-and install two new mini-split units, eighteen VAV boxes with electric reheat, and associated ductwork modifications. A new Building Management System will integrate all HVAC equipment. The scope also includes allowances for ceiling tile removal and repair, unspecified work items, and electrical demolition and installation of cable, conduit, disconnects, and panel boards . A bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid may be substituted for certified check or cash, except the amount of the bid security shall not be less than $500.00 - nor more than $20,000.00. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certificate of Experience and Certificate of Equipment. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing, addressed to the Engineer, at the address included in the advertisement and to be given consideration must be received no later than ten (10) days (Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted) prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids The Township Committee of the Township of Voorhees reserves the right to reject any or all bids if in its opinion it is in the best interest of the Township to do so. A Pre-Bid meeting is to be held at the Voorhees Township Municipal Building on Monday, December 8, 2025 at 10:00am.
