Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Carrollton, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Sealed proposals are requested from Athletic Lighting Contractors for lighting and electrical renovations for Carroll County Parks and Recreation Department at 1201 Newnan Road, Carrollton, Georgia. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the outlined requirements, including attendance at a mandatory pre-proposal meeting. Proposals must include 13 copies and an electronic copy, the completed proposal form with attachments, the Contractor Affidavit and Agreement showing compliance with Georgia immigration laws, affidavits for Verification of Lawful Presence through the SAVE program, a signed Fee Proposal Form, and a Bid Bond in a separate sealed envelope. The bid bond required is five percent of the base bid, and performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract sum will be needed before construction begins. Only bonds from sureties authorized to conduct business in Georgia and listed on the Federal Register will be accepted. The owner reserves the right to waive technicalities and irregularities and to reject any or all proposals.
