The funding source for this project is WATER UTILITY REVENUE. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of the following project, TRFP Filter Gallery Plant III - Window Replacements Ph. I as follows: The base bid project scope includes the removal and replacement of six monumental aluminum windows on the south elevation of the Plant III Filter Gallery. New, built-up aluminum storefront assemblies with insulated glazing and operable awning windows will be installed in each window opening. This project includes the installation of related grout, blocking sill flashings and perimeter joint sealants per construction details. Miscellaneous stone repair may also be required at wall opening perimeters if damage is identified during existing window removal. all in accordance with the Bidding Documents as prepared by the City Utilities Engineering Department, City of Fort Wayne, Indiana. No Bid will be accepted from, or contract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to the City, or is engaged in litigation with the City. No Bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after the scheduled time for receipt of Bids so as to allow review of Bids before announcing award of Contract. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid. All access to the Site other than during a regularly scheduled Site visit must be coordinated through the following Owner or Engineer contact for visiting the Site: Jacobs Engineering. Bidder must conduct the required Site visit during normal working hours.
