Renovation of a fire / police facility in Burlington, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
The project requires a qualified contractor to repair and restore the wood and metal windows at Fire Station No. 1 (Central Fire Station), a historically significant building from 1926 that is listed on the VT State Register of Historic Places. The window preservation work includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the restoration of the wood and metal windows, as specified. An alternate scope of work is for replacement windows, which may be considered due to advanced deterioration of existing windows. A detailed scope of work is attached as Exhibit 7.
