Sealed bids are requested for Sewer Collection System Rehabilitation consisting of mainline and service lines repair, replacement, and lining, manhole repairs and waterproofing, sewer system evaluation services, and other related items of work including all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and tools as detailed in the bid documents. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the contractor's license number, plainly marked for Sewer System Rehabilitation - Community Development Block Grant, and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to 5% of the bid as a guarantee. Bidders must comply with all requirements of the Public Bid Law and follow all federal and state laws and regulations regarding employment, minimum wage rates, Section 3, Buy America, and nondiscrimination. Bidders must also ensure all iron and steel products are produced in the United States, and have valid UEI and SAM Cage Code numbers. Minority, female-owned, and Section 3 firms are encouraged to submit bids. The contractor must begin mobilization and material procurement within ten working days after receiving the Notice to Proceed.
