Renovation of a library in Eunice, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Eunice for construction of Eunice Library Exterior Improvements at 222 S. 2nd Street, Eunice, Louisiana. The work shall be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days from the date specified in the Contract or Notice to Proceed, subject to liquidated damages of $500.00 per consecutive calendar day for delays. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond using the Owner's form, amounting to five percent (5%) of the proposed Base Bid plus all Alternates. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond equal to 100% of the contract. Bids are accepted only from contractors licensed by the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors for Building Construction. No bids may be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after receipt except as provided by law. The City of Eunice encourages participation of minority business enterprises for contracts and procurements. Pre - Bid Date noted in Advertisement for Bid is to be revised and rescheduled to February 10th at 10:00 AM . Location has remained the same as noted in the advertisement .
