Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Bakersfield, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work consists of, in general, rehabilitation of the existing asphalt pavement, adjusting manhole and monument covers, construction of minor concrete - curb & gutter, curb extensions, access ramps, medians, decorative and stamped concrete, and channelized intersections, improvement of traffic signal, street lighting, and pedestrian-friendly streetscaping, installation of striping, pavement marking, removal of traffic signal system, and installation of traffic signal detector loops along the corridor.
