Location. The project is located on City-owned property on the western side of Rupert, Idaho. Description: The City of Rupert is soliciting proposals from qualified well drilling contractors to perform the construction and testing of municipal Well 9. Work will include drilling, well construction, video surveying, development, testing, and completing one new public well in accordance with project specifications and comply with the requirements of the contract documents. Scope of Work: The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and permits necessary to complete the well drilling and testing. The scope includes: o Pilot borehole drilling with casing advance. o Production borehole drilling with casing advance. o Final well construction with stainless steel wire-wrap screen and engineered gravel pack. Removal of temporary casings during well construction. o Geologic logging, alignment testing, and a final video survey of the well. o Rig development with mechanical methods. o Installation of temporary test pumping equipment for development and testing. o Performance of step-drawdown and constant-rate pumping tests in accordance with the attached specifications. o Measurement and recording of water levels, discharge rates, and other required test data. o Compliance with all applicable Idaho Administrative Rules for Well Drillers (IDAPA 37), including driller licensure (Idaho Public Works) and registration, aquifer test authorization, water discharge permits, start card, and proper site disinfection and reporting. o Submission of a test summary to the City and Project Hydrogeologist upon completion.
