Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Rupert, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,600-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Two-story municipal building to house the Minidoka County Commissioners and associated offices and meeting rooms. Total building size is approximately 9,600 sq. ft. Structural elements are comprised of wood truss/joist floor and roof framing systems with wood stud bearing walls. Includes one masonry elevator shaft/stair tower and one non-enclosed wood framed stair system. Project location is at the corner lot at the intersection of 7th and G Street in Rupert, Idaho. The Owner requires completion within 300 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit sealed bid proposals, clearly marked, to the specified address by the stated deadline. Bidders are required to provide a bidder's security in the amount of 5% of the total bid, which can be in the form of cash, cashier's check, or a bidder's bond by a qualified surety company. A 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond are also required. Bids must be irrevocable for 30 days after submission. Additional bidding requirements are outlined in AIA Document A701 - Instructions to Bidders, 2018 edition. Contractors must possess a current public works contractor license in the State of Idaho in order to bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in their best interest.
