Tenant improvement to create a warm shell with power, lighting, ventilation and restroom for an as-yet undetermined tenant. The project also includes build out of storage spaces adjacent to the space, including framing, lighting, power, and basic fire-life safety. To be eligible for consideration, bidders must submit a Contractor’s Special Statement of Experience on their letterhead, containing documentation of completion of a minimum of three and maximum of five comparable projects with a construction value at award of $750,000 or greater, completed in the past five years, within the immediate nine Bay Area counties. For each project, the submittal must include: project name, project address, owner’s name, contract value at award, total Change Order value, completion date, Owner’s Representative email address and current phone number, and a description of how the project is comparable to the project being bid. All comparable projects on all UC Campuses and National Labs (LBNL, LLNL) within the last five years should be included. Do not include projects currently under construction. Bidders are required to register and complete the registration form at the provided BuildingConnected link. Interested respondents must email the specified contact and request access to the project in BuildingConnected, including the project name and number in the subject line. Only bidders who participate in the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Tour in its entirety will be allowed to bid as prime contractors. The successful bidder must have a "B" General Contractor license and comply with all specified labor, nondiscrimination, and registration requirements.
