Sealed bids are invited for paving various county roads as part of the awarded CCMG 2026-1 grant, based on the following specific locations: #1 S 1125E from E 700S to E 950S; #2 S 1100E from 950S to Countyline; #3 E 950S from S 1125E to Countyline; #4 N 700E from E 1000N to SR58; #5 N 675E from E 925N to E 1000N. Bidders shall submit unit prices as per quantities in the detailed specifications. The contract will be for one year without price escalation or de-escalation. Bidders must include: Form DC-BOP, non-collusion affidavit, a certified check or bid bond equal to ten percent of the bid, Form #96 with a notarized non-collusion affidavit, a payment bond for the contract amount, proof of required insurances, affidavit under IC 22-5-1.7 (E-Verify Program), a performance bond for one hundred percent of the contract price, and completed Suspension and Debarment Certification. Bidders must indemnify and hold harmless the contracting authority, and comply with state, federal, and local regulations, including nondiscrimination provisions. The awarding authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive any irregularities. - Removal of existing Railroad Flat Car Bridge Structure - Complete any clearing and/or debris removal as needed - Excavation for the new bridge - Supply material for & install 2 new reinforced concrete foundations. These foundations will be founded on EXISTING steel piles that we anticipate will exist after the exiting old concrete abutments are demolished. - Supply the material for and install (4) new concrete wing walls, one at each corner of the bridge - Backfilling the new abutments and wing walls with County supplied aggregate. - Installation of County supplied revetment Riprap along both sides of the creek, under the new bridge and around the new bridge "cones". - Supply & install steel I-beams - Supply & install steel diaphragms - Supply & install a new reinforced concrete deck on top of the beams. - Supply & install W-beam steel guardrail along both sides of the bridge - Provide a structure that will meet standard HS-20 highway loading - Supply "working drawings" that detail the aspects of the new portions of the replacement bridge and stamped by a professional engineer.
