Main floor security upgrade and tenant improvement. The following is an abridged summary of various disciplines of work to be completed. this list is not exhaustive, and scope is defined within each discipline package attached in the drawings and specifications. Question Deadline 01/12/2026 All enquiries should be directed to mnowdlak@gov.nu.ca Architecture: 1. All exterior door frames to be removed, reinforced, and reinstalled. Surrounding walls and materials to be patched and made good. Maintain existing air and vapour barriers. 2. All exterior door hardware to be replaced with new. 3. Existing main exterior entry door and door hardware to be demolished and replaced with new. Materials supplied by owner, contractor to install. 4. Replace exterior window hardware with new where indicated. 5. Demolish all interior counters and overhead cabinets where indicated; cap all mechanical connections (see mechanical and electrical). Patch and repair affected and adjacent walls, match existing finish. 6. New counter and overhead cabinets to be installed in staff room 116. 7. Demolish closet walls and bulkheads where indicated. Patch and repair affected and adjacent walls, match existing finish. 8. Demolish existing fixtures in barrier-free washroom 127, cap all mechanical connections (see mechanical and electrical). 9. Janitor sink in janitor room 117 to be replaced with new. 10. Lavatories in washrooms 114 and 120 to be replaced with new. 11. Remove existing flooring where indicated and install new. 12. Construct new interior walls where indicated. 13. Install new interior doors and door hardware where indicated. 14. Install new millwork in staff room 116 and interview room 113. Mechanical: 1. Existing lavatory /sinks, toilets and showers to be demolished as indicated, dcw and dhw lines to be capped as indicated. 2. New lavatory installed and connected as indicated. 3. Existing rangehood to be demolished as indicated. 4. Existing laundry vents and connections capped as indicated. 5. Medical gas faucet demolished and capped as indicated. Electrical: 1. Demolition of defunct nurse call system. 2. New access control system for interior doors to be installed. 3. New intrusion detection system to be installed. 4. New video surveillance system to be installed. 5. Additional power and data drop to be installed in offices. 6. Addition of extra fire alarm devices.
