Site work for a water / sewer project in Janesville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary for replacement and/or rehabilitation of sanitary, storm, and water structures. The work includes replacement of approximately 17 storm structures, 54 storm inlets, and 7 water structures and rehabilitation of approximately 78 sanitary structures, 12 storm structures, 14 storm inlets, and 10 water structures. Also included is the replacement of 55 LF of 8” sanitary sewer. Structure replacement and rehabilitation must be completed in a timely manner in advance of the street rehabilitation. All bids shall be submitted electronically through QuestCDN vBid Online Bidding ONLY. No paper bids will be accepted. Bids will be opened electronically. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check equal to 10 percent of the bid or a bid bond in equal amount, payable to the City as guaranty that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and performance bond within ten days from the date the lowest responsible bidder's bid is accepted. If the bidder fails to execute such contract and performance bond within the specified time, the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages.
