Renovation of a medical facility in Birmingham, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Pre-qualification requirements: Prime contractors that are properly licensed for this type of work are required to prequalify in order to bid. For more information about the project and how to prequalify, visit the UAB Facilities Bid Calendar and refer to the specific project number. Prequalification submissions must be received prior to the prebid conference. Renovation of approximately 15,000 +/- square feet of space within the existing sixth floor Medical Towers building. Renovations include selective demolition related to the addition of an accessible toilet room and installation of new finishes - including paint, flooring, rubber base, ceiling tile and grid. Modifications will be made to existing electrical to install new LED light fixtures and provide additional power and data outlets. Est $350,000 - $450,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
