Renovation of a mixed-use development in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade restaurant; and one-story above grade educational facility.
All bids shall be submitted electronically (PDF format only) through the designated online plan room for General Construction, Demolition, Carpentry, Painting, HVAC, DDC Controls, Electrical, Fire Protection, Fire Alarm, and Plumbing. Bids and bonds must be on blank forms provided in the bid documents, stating the bid amount in writing and in figures, and must be uploaded to the online plan room. Bids must include a copy of a certified or bank cashier's check or bid bond, and bidders must be prepared to provide a hard copy within 48 hours if requested. Bids are to be guaranteed for ten days following the opening and must include the relevant forms: "Disclosure of Ownership" (if applicable) and "Affidavit of Noncollusion." A goal of 20% participation for Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) is included and strongly recommended, with the successful bidder required to submit the list of HUB firms as part of post-bid requirements. Apprentices are mandatory for five of the following trades: General Laborer, Carpenter, Painter, HVAC Installer/Technician, Electrician, Plumber, Tile Setter, Welder, and Pipefitter, and the list of utilized apprentice categories must be provided post-bid. The board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or accept any bid deemed in its best interest. per plans & specifications, which includes, but not limited to General Construction of the Café, raised access floor, overhead door with service door, millwork, ceiling installation, HVAC, DDC Controls, Plumbing, Electrical, Fire Protection, Fire Alarm, Painting of gypsum board ceiling outside of the Café just above of the existing ramp, painting of railing outside of Café, & floor patching of terrazzo flooring including all costs for construction All questions related to the Bid or Project must be received at MATCFPC@matc.edu no later than Monday, December 29, 2025 at Noon. Subject line must include Bid Reference Number and Bid Title.
