Renovation of an educational facility in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 90,368-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
The project consists of approximately 90,368 +/- square feet of roof system removal and replacement with new insulation, new high density cover board, and new fully adhered single ply EPDM membrane roofing system with all related flashing and sheet metal work for the Benjamin Franklin Middle School West Hall. Sealed bids in duplicate will be received for the construction of the Single Ply Roof Replacement. Bids should be prepared according to drawings and specifications from RRMM Architects and will be awarded for the Lump Sum amount of the Base Bid. The procedure for withdrawal of bids shall be according to Section 11-54A, (i) of the Code of Virginia. Bidders must comply with these procedures or waive all rights to claim an error. Bidders must also comply with Title 54, Chapter 7, of the Code of Virginia concerning contractor registration. Franklin County Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
