Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Geary, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

Specifications: 1. 05720 Stainless Steel Railing: This railing shall be provided for interior ramps in rooms 105 (NW corner), 159, & 202, both sides as well as at stairs in 132C, both sides. All other railing for stairs, ramps, etc. interior and exterior shall be painted steel as indicated on drawings. 2. 10150.3 Marker Boards: Boards shall be provided by contractor, include in bid as specified complete with accessories outlined in spec. One per classroom, spec ed, art, computer lab, library, & music rooms (Qty: 23) Boards shall all receive tak strip/ cork material along with map rail, full width. 3. 10150.4 Tack Board: Omit all labor and materials related to tack boards. 4.10426 Signage: Interior room signs shall be as specified but at a size of 9" wide x 6.5" tall. The note previously provided stating "verify size with text requirements" is in reference to the highlite squares, not the sign itself. Site Work: 1. Side Walk/Paving: Concrete walk indicated along the west and north side of the building, including the large northwest corner space are existing, protect. See plan 'AD3-DWG1' attached to this addendum for indication of existing sidewalks to remain, new sidewalks/steps, new paving, gravel by others. New concrete walk shown to abut existing shall match existing sidewalk elevations, field verify. Only the dumpster location will require partial removal and replacement of the concrete walk for new 5" paving to match street side elevations. Gravel by owner's forces. Legend provided on plan. 2. Grading Plan 'C2': Two new contour designations near the northwest corner of the gymnasium (door #162) are incorrect. The contours starting at the existing elevation '1556' going east should be '1555' and '1554'. Contours continuing from there are correct 3. Building Pad: The excavation of existing soils, fill, compaction required for the building pad up to within 12" below finished floor shall be provided by owner's forces. Contractor shall be responsible for minimal 'leveling' of the pad and all work required after the pad is completed including digging footings, compacted subbase, etc. Contractor shall be required to coordinate with owner's forces to verify pad elevation and other site conditions during this phase of work. Finish Grading/ Sod: Contractor shall be responsible for all 'finish' fill, leveling, grading around the building along with sod work, typical. Architectural: 1. Railing: All railing shall be painted steel as indicted on plans except at interior ramps where they shall be stainless as specified, see Specifications section, note #1 this addendum. 2. Marker Boards: Contractor shall provide blocking in stud framed walls for all marker boards, full width (Qty: 19). The other 4 boards will be mounted to cmu walls. 3. Ramp in Lobby 105 is shown correctly on plan A6. The ramp shall receive a 48" height cmu partition with 2" cap block (paint). This ramp receives a hand rail, wall mounted, each side as specified (see 'spec' section note #1 this addendum) Disregard steel railing indicated on section 3/A31. Cmu partition shall be anchored to floor slab and cmu wall. 4. Railing indicated on sections 2/A30 and 1/A32 shall be fabricated as shown on 285/A45 Structural: 1. Sheet S2.2.2, plan #2 of the existing PEMB building shows new 6" zee purlins to stiffen existing roof structure. In lieu of using (2)1/2" bolts at 36" o.c. contractor may use self tapping screws at 12" o.c., top and bottom, staggered. Screws shall be 1/4"x14x1-1/4 DP3. Contractor shall be responsible for means and method of access to the area for this work whether from the interior, exterior, or both. Electrical: 1. Clock System: There is no clock system to be provided in bid. This item may be added post bid by owner to be coordinated on site at a later date. 2.CCTV System: There is no CCTV system to be provided in bid.
