The Government anticipates establishing a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to support the Los Angeles Air Force Base (LAAFB) Security Forces Squadron's Base Alarm requirement. The contractor will provide maintenance and repair services for the base alarm system and CCTV system at LAAFB. This includes cleaning, scheduling, repairing, planning, and replacing alarm components, access control readers, workstations, and various surveillance equipment to ensure compliance with Air Force standards. The scope of work also requires maintaining the VPN integrated into the base network backbone, which involves network troubleshooting, testing, and evaluating its condition using network test equipment to measure voltages and frequencies. The contractor must possess expertise in IP configurations for surveillance and alarm system components, including fiber optics, network switches (CISCO), network video recorders, media converters, and license plate recognition (LPR) technology. Additional responsibilities include using network software to identify and resolve anomalies, correcting issues through software or hardware replacement, and maintaining certifications for proprietary software and equipment. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
