Renovation of an office development in Los Angeles, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade office development.
Provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, insurance, and services to renovate existing office suite 1500 to be demised into two suites (1500 and 1520) with reconfiguration of the existing reception area and adjacent supporting areas. This includes new breakroom millwork with sink, new walls, and associated built-in millwork. Install new furniture feeds for new system furniture, new or relocated light fixtures, and rework HVAC per new wall layout. Apply new finishes throughout. Asbestos-containing material is present and will be abated prior to construction. Only prequalified General Contractors can bid as Prime Contractor. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be prequalified and listed in the provided list of General Contractors. Bidders must have a current and active California "B" (General Contractor) license at the time of bid submission. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code sections 1725.5 and 1771.1. Bidders must comply with all applicable non-discrimination and prevailing wage requirements and pay no less than the UC Fair Wage as required. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk is required to be eligible to bid as a prime contractor.
