The Hull Housing Authority invites sealed bids from contractors for the roof replacement at State Aided Development: Nantascot Place (200-1) in Hull, Massachusetts. The project consists of, but is not limited to, roofing replacement of six buildings, reframing and roofing of doghouses, and replacement of storm doors. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the category of roofing, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. General bids and sub-bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit not less than five percent of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) and made payable to the Hull Housing Authority. General bidders must agree to contract with minority and women business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO). The combined participation benchmark reserved for such enterprises shall not be less than thirteen percent of the final contract price including accepted alternates. The contractor and all subcontractors agree to strive to achieve minority and women workforce participation, with workforce participation benchmarks set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities.
