SCOPE OF WORK 1.1 The City of Yuma Utilities Agua Viva Water Treatment Plant is requesting bids to repair one Sodium Hypochlorite fiberglass storage tank. The repairs are to reline the interior of the tank floors, walls, manways, flanges and sealing of all leaks. The work for this project shall be executed in the best and most competent manner and certified efficient mechanics/tradesman, skilled in their respective trade. Reference pictures in Attachment A. 1.2 The City of Yuma Figueroa Water Pollution Control Facility is requesting bids to repair or replace connection from tank to flanged valve and larger flange with leak on a Sodium Hypochlorite fiberglass storage tank. The request for this tank is to repair or replace the connection to the flanged valve and flange to the manway access hatch. Reference pictures in Attachment B. 1.3 The tank requesting repairs is a capacity of 6,500 gallons and stores Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5% solution. Dimensions are 14' high and 9' diameter, lined and constructed of fiberglass. REPAIR OF FIGERGALSS STORAGE TANK 2.1. Repair of storage tank must be in accordance with all applicable codes and industry standards. 2.2. Vendor shall maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the period of construction. The vendor shall, at the end of each work day, remove all demolition debris and hazardous and potentially dangerous materials used in the work. 2.3. The vendor shall be responsible for receiving, storing, and securing of all materials, equipment and other items to be used in accomplishing the work.
