Description

Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Effingham, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.

Location: Approximately 65' East of Oceola Street along Evergreen Avenue. Project Length: 93.0' (0.02 mi). Scope of work includes replacement of an existing double 12'-0" x 7'-4" box culvert with a proposed cast-in-place triple 12'-0" x 9'-0" box culvert. Improvements also include pavement patching, aggregate base course, manhole, storm sewer, and all necessary incidental work as shown on the plans. Instructions to bidders: Plans and proposal forms are available at the office of Farnsworth Group, Inc. The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and reject any or all proposals. Bidders are responsible for examining the plans and understanding all requirements. Submission of a bid is assurance and warranty of this understanding. The authority will not be responsible for costs due to failure to examine the plans. Bidders shall not take advantage of any proposal or contract error or omission. Bids may be withdrawn if the request is made in writing or in person before the opening time.
