Renovation of a municipal facility in Batavia, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Sealed bids for the project entitled, One Batavia City Centre - Interior Improvement Project - Plumbing Construction Contract. CR#: 2129487 Funding for this project is being provided by the NYS - EMPIRE STATE DEVELOPMENT. The selected Contractor must comply with all provisions in the contract between the NYS DOS and the City. The NYS DOS has established an M/WBE participation goal of 30%, with 15% for Minority Owned Business Enterprises (MBE) and 15% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBE). Prospective Bidders are advised that the City of Batavia encourages the participation of veteran owned and service-disabled veteran-owned business enterprises with a goal of 6% in construction, supplier, equipment, and other related products and services. Each bid must be accompanied by the deposit of cash, certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form provided, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100 percent (100%) of the total Contract award amount. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within forty-five (45) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Upon acceptance of their bid, if the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract pursuant to the requirements of the Batavia City Council, or fails to give further security prescribed in this notice, within the time limited therein, then the check deposited as aforesaid and the monies standing to the credit of same, shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages, or the payment of the bond enforced for the benefit of the City. The City of Batavia reserves the right to waive informalities in or to reject any and, all bids. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the Bid and to reject any or all Bids. Question Deadline 12/29/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents or the Contract Documents shall be submitted to A/E in writing Bid date notes: All Bids shall be made on the forms furnished and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked "CITY OF BATAVIA - ONE BATAVIA CITY CENTRE - INTERIOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT" and clearly marked with one of the 4 prime contract names referenced above and directed to the City of Batavia. If a bidder intends to submit bids for more than one prime contract, each bid proposal must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes, each with the appropriate prime contract name clearly marked. Doc Notes: 2. Interested parties may request and receive a CD with electronic copies of the Bidding Documents. If the CD is to be shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidder's active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs. 3. For a non-refundable fee, printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from any Avalon Planroom. If the documents are to be shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidder's active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs.
