Sealed bids are invited for the One Batavia City Centre - Interior Improvement Project for the City of Batavia, Genesee. The work is divided into four prime contracts: General Construction, Mechanical HVAC Construction, Electrical Construction, and Plumbing Construction. Bidders must submit their bids on the provided forms in separate clearly marked sealed envelopes for each prime contract. All bidders are required to become a "Plan Holder of Record" by obtaining Bidding Documents through the designated Avalon Planroom website. Bids must be accompanied by a deposit (cash, certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond) not less than 5% of the bid amount. Successful bidders will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the total contract award amount. A Bidder's Certificate of Non-Collusion must be completed with the bid. The City reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Participation goals for the project include 15% for Minority-Owned and 15% for Women-Owned Business Enterprises, and 6% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses.
