Renovation of a mixed-use development in Batavia, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Batavia, New York is seeking a one-time supply contract for the replacement of a steam coil in AHU 1, located in the women's mental health center. The contractor must supply one steam coil that matches the specifications provided and must conduct onsite field measurements to ensure proper sizing before ordering. The coil must be crated and wrapped to prevent damage during transit and must be UL and C-UL listed. Specifications include: Coil Type LAMISV, 6 fins per inch, APD of 0.24 IN.WG, TH and SH of 408.653 MBH, LDB of 102.7F, COND of 425.5 LB/HR, steam temperature of 227.12F, pressure of 5.0 PSIG, EDB of 67F, air flow of 10,550 ft3/min, face velocity of 502.38 ft/min, fins made of aluminum at 0.0085 thickness, and tubes made of copper at 0.0350 thickness. Delivery must be completed within 30 days of receiving the signed purchase order. Upon delivery, the coil will be inspected for completeness and defects. If materials are found unacceptable, replacements must be delivered within 30 business days. A one-year manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship is required. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
