Site work for a water / sewer project in Batavia, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bid envelopes shall be marked on the outside Bid for VFD Water Treatment Plant . Please include information such as cost of labor and materials, warranty coverage for labor and materials, and estimated time of completion. The bid will be awarded based on a combination of factors including cost, warranty coverage, and the bidder s experience in the industry. The scope of work for the replacement of the VFD will include: Disconnect and lock-out power to the VFD section of the existing Altivar cabinet at the Water Treatment Plant. Locate and label control wires interconnecting the original VFD to the control cabinet in office, Disconnect and cap all wires to be reinstalled. Remove all components past the existing Square D 400amp breaker in cabinet. Remove existing cabinet ventilation system to allow depth for new VFD in needed. Provide and install any necessary materials to reinforce cabinet to support new VFD if needed. New VFD should be installed in the existing cabinet. Cabinet may require modification. Install replacement VFD, Install new key pad in cabinet door, Reconnect all control wires, Install new THHN copper conductors with new lugs from existing Square D 400amp breaker to new VFD input, Provide and install new distribution block extending new 250mcm THHN copper conductors to new VFD output if needed, Provide and install new intake cooling fan/filter combo and exhaust filter, Provide and install control transformer, fusing, and thermostat for cooling fan, Test completed installation, Verify correct: o rotation o output current o output voltage, Confirm with Water Treatment Plant staff that all remote controls and displays are functioning properly All bids should be submitted on forms provided by the City.
