The work consists of the following: installation of four Return Activated Sludge (RAS) pumps pre-purchased by the City including contract reassignment; installation of two Waste Activated Sludge (WAS) pumps; installation of new RAS and WAS piping, including excavation and installation of pre-cast utility vaults and paving; installation of related electrical and instrumentation improvements including pressure instruments and flow meters; installation of walls at the WAS Station, including doors, exhaust fans, louvers, and heater.
