The proposed project will alleviate stormwater flooding and provide needed groundwater recharge to help sustain the aquifer that the community of Sultana depends on for its drinking water supply. The project consists of three major components: (1) The modification of the inlet and outlet basin structures to use the existing stormwater retention basin as a recharge basin; (2) the replacement of approximately 133 linear feet of stormwater pipe currently in disrepair; and (3) the increase in capacity of the existing stormwater lift station. Bids shall be in accordance with the drawings and specifications which are on electronic file with, and may be obtained from, the Resource Management Agency. Each bid shall be submitted individually on the Bid Forms that are provided in the Specifications along with accompanying documents and a Cashier's Check or Bid Bond for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, sealed in an envelope marked with the bidder's name and business address, the project title, and the scheduled time and date of the bid opening. It is the bidder's responsibility to print the necessary pages required for the bid.
