The City of Dover intends to contract for engineering and architectural services for various studies and public improvement projects. The projects include, but are not limited to, design of road and various street improvements, reconstruction of streets, paving of the River Front Park walking path, traffic studies, design of traffic signals, and/or inspections. Additional services may include design and/or inspection of sanitary sewers, pump stations, force mains, waterline design and/or inspections, water treatment and storm sewer improvements, and other public improvements authorized by the City of Dover Administration. Firms interested in being considered should reply with a statement of qualifications by the stated deadline. The statement of qualifications should contain the technical approach for various projects; experience with similar projects; history of the firm including education and experience; technical expertise of staff; adequate equipment and facilities; capacity to perform work and meet schedules and budgets; firm location; references; previous work performed for the City of Dover; and evidence of financial responsibility. Firms must note any Ohio Department of Transportation pre-qualifications needed for design or inspection of State or Federal Grant Projects. Responding firms will be evaluated and selected based on qualifications. The City of Dover will seek to negotiate a contract with the firm it determines to be most qualified to perform the required services. Three copies of the statement of qualifications (no more than 14 pages front and back, not including covers) should be submitted.
