Site work and paving for a road / highway in Dover, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals will be received for the furnishing of labor and materials for profiling certain streets and alleys and installing 10,000 tons of bituminous materials. Specifications for the requested bids are on file at the office of the Director of Public Service. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid, or a bid guaranty bond for the full amount of the bid. Bid guaranties are conditioned upon executing a proper contract if accepted within sixty days of the bid opening, and upon failure or refusal to enter into a contract within ten days of notification, the bidder and surety are liable for up to ten percent of the bid. Bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment. All bids must comply with the requirements of the specifications and contract documents. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
