Renovation of a military facility in Dover, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,032-square-foot military facility.

Provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, permits, labor, and materials necessary to remove existing roofing materials and install a new roofing system at the Muskingum Area Office. Work includes replacement of the interior flat roof and perimeter shingle roof, demolition and disposal of existing roofing materials, installation of new roofing components, flashing, underlayment, and associated accessories, as well as all work required to provide a complete, weather-tight, and fully functional roofing system. Location: Muskingum Area Office, 975 Dover Road NE, Dover, OH 44622. Site Conditions & Constraints Structure: Muskingum Area Office Approximate Roof Area: 2232 sq. ft. flat roof; 800 sq ft shingle roof. Structural Framing: Work is limited to the area above the existing structure. The structural framing shall not be altered. Access: Access is restricted to walkways and parking area in front of building. No vehicular or crane access is available on sides of structure. The Contractor is permitted to use the project parking lot for material storage at the discretion of the Facility Manager. The Contractor's work limits are confined to the parking area and roof areas, with the access path and steps to the work area as limited work limits. Reference Attachment A - Work Area. At no time shall any work performed by the Contractor prohibit the operation of any of the project's features. Office personnel will be available during regular work hours to unlock any security gates/doors daily to allow the Contractor access to the work area. Electrical service is available for use at site. Access drive must be kept clear at all times . 2.0 SPECFICATIONS 2.1 Flat Roof Section This portion of the project involves the complete removal and replacement of the existing flat roof system. Removal: Complete tear-off of the existing flat roof materials to roof decking. o Repair structural integrity of decking as needed. Insulation: Installation of two layers of 2-inch ISO board insulation taped and sealed to meet current building codes. Membrane: Installation of a new white TPO (Thermoplastic Olefin) roofing membrane. Flashing: Installation of bent 6" x4" flashing with hem. Fastening: The TPO system must be mechanically fastened per manufacturer's specifications or industry standards. Shingle Roof Section This portion of the project involves the removal and replacement of the existing shingle roof. Removal: Complete tear-off of all existing shingles down to the roof decking.Underlayment: Installation of a new synthetic underlayment. Drip Edge: Installation of a new drip edge. Color: Royal Brown Shingles: Installation of new shingles and corresponding starter strips. Color: Desert Rose Sealing: Hand-seal all shingles due to the pitch of the roof, following manufacturer's specifications. Gutter: Leaf Gutter Guard system installed onto existing gutters and properly sized per manufacturer's specifications or industry standards.
