Site work and paving for a road / highway in Dover, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals in duplicate are requested for the furnishing of labor and materials for profiling certain streets and alleys and installing 9,200 tons of bituminous materials for the City of Dover, Ohio. Specifications for bids are available at the office of the Director of Public Service. All bids must comply with the requirements of these specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, letter of credit equal to 10% of the bid, or a bid guaranty bond for the full amount of the bid, as provided in Chapter 153 of the Ohio Revised Code and in the project specifications. The bid amount for guaranty purposes must include all additive and deductive alternates. The guaranty must stipulate that if the bid is accepted within sixty days, a proper contract will be executed, and failure to do so within ten days after notification of award will result in liability to the City for an amount not to exceed ten percent of the bid. Bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment. All bids must comply with all requirements of the specifications and contract documents. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
