Separate and sealed proposals will be received for the CSO 006 Reconstruction and Partial Separation Project - Contract R023-25 and the City of Jeannette Manhole Lining Project - Contract R026-26. Prospective bidders may obtain or examine bidding documents at the office of Gibson-Thomas Engineering. Bidding documents are available for purchase upon payment of a non-refundable fee. Bids can be mailed or dropped off at the designated location. A pre-bid conference will be held, attendance is encouraged but not required. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or Bidder's Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal, made payable to the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County. No bid may be withdrawn within one hundred twenty (120) days after submission. All contractors must comply with Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Requirement applies. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality. Further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are specified in the Instructions to Bidders within the bidding documents. The following waivers apply to this Contract: DeMinimis, Minor Components, Pig Iron and direct reduced iron.
