Renovation of an industrial development in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a industrial development.

Sealed bids are requested for the Shell Renovation for Tenant Suite 100B at Jeannette Industrial Park. Interested bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and provide their own roof access. Bid documents are available electronically upon registration. Each bid must include a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each for 110% of the contract price, and proof of insurance. Contractors must comply with all applicable state and federal statutes, regulations, and contract provisions, including but not limited to the Building Energy Conservation Act, Steel Products Procurement Act, Trade Practices Act, Public Works Contractor's Bond Act, Flood Plain Management Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and all pollution-control laws. Requirements also include non-discrimination and sexual harassment provisions, ensuring no suspensions or debarments, active recruitment of minority and women subcontractors, and maintenance of project records for seven years. Federal requirements apply, including prevailing wage, contract work hours, anti-kickback, equal employment opportunity, debarment and suspension, anti-lobbying, and clean air standards. Prime contractors are encouraged to solicit proposals from minority, women, and Section 3 business enterprises. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. Bids may be held for up to sixty days for review and qualification investigation prior to contract award. Project Identification: The project consists of renovating the suite for the Shell Renovation to Suite 100B at the Jeannette Industrial Park. 1. Project Location: Jeannette Industrial Park, Jayhawk Drive, Jeannette, Pennsylvania 15644. 2. Owner: Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation, 40 North Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite 520, Greensburg, Pennsylvania 15601. An oral RFI or an RFI presented in an unapproved format will not be accepted. Any project delay caused by Engineers refusal to accept an oral RFI or an RFI presented in an unapproved format will be attributed solely to the Contractor.
