The contractor shall provide all tools, materials, equipment, and labor necessary to complete the general construction project to renovate the Dialysis Clinic at the Iowa City VA Health Care System in accordance with the construction documents. The project will begin with renovation work to prepare a temporary dialysis clinic. Once the temporary clinic is operational, the contractor shall renovate approximately 5,000 square feet of the existing dialysis clinic. All work must comply with the solicitation and contract terms, specifications, drawings, and all applicable VA, Federal, State, and local codes. This acquisition is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns under Public Law 109-461 and the Veterans First Contracting Program. Offerors must be SDVOSB certified under VAAR 819.70, qualify as a small business under NAICS code 236220, and be listed in the SBA certification database. Formal certification of compliance with the Limitation on Subcontracting is required with the bid; failure to provide this will render the offer ineligible. The applicable NAICS code is 236220, with a small business size standard of $45 million. The estimated construction cost range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
