Renovation of a medical facility in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
a. Project Location: Work shall be performed under this Contract on the campus of the University of Iowa at 200 Hawkins Drive, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, General Hospital and Roy J. Carver Pavilion - L6. b. The Constructor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment necessary for, and incidental to, construction of this project as indicated on Drawings dated December 18, 2025. c. Work shall include everything requisite and necessary to finish work properly, notwithstanding that not every item of labor or materials or accessories required to make project complete may be specifically mentioned. The certified Iowa TSB participation goal for this project is 10 percent (10%) of the Base Bid. Question Deadline 01/01/2026 Each Bidder shall examine the Contract Documents carefully and, not later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date set for receipt of bids, shall make written request to the Design Professional for interpretation or correction of any ambiguity, inconsistency or error therein which may be discovered. Replace flooring in inpatient rooms located in the Roy J. Carver Pavilion, Level 6, at the University of Iowa Health Care facility. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference and inspection of the existing conditions.
