The Project includes the following Work: The project includes improvements to the Town's existing wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and collection system. The WWTP work includes but is not limited to conversion of the existing sludge digester to a new Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) with new diffused aeration equipment, new SBR blowers with VFD's and dissolved oxygen (DO) control, backup SBR control system, structural improvements to the existing concrete tanks, conversion of the existing chlorine contact tank to a new UV disinfection tank, new effluent pump station with new force main and outfall structure.
