Site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Silver Spring, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The work includes renovation of 1.1 miles of shared use path and approximately 2100 linear feet of outfall restoration in Wheaton Regional Park. Scope includes erosion and sediment control, tree removals, tree protection and preservation, demolition of existing facilities, channel stabilization, grading, full depth asphalt paving meeting ADA requirements, stream structures, drainage structures, stream and trail side plantings, landscaping, and site restoration. The Contract shall be in effect for a total term of three hundred thirty (330) calendar days from the start date specified in the Notice to Proceed. This 330-day period accounts for: two hundred forty (240) calendar days to complete all Work required by the Contract, typical weather patterns, As-Builts approved, a ninety (90) day retention period, and all work accepted for final payment.
