INTENT: It is the intent to describe 4' Snow Fence and poles to be purchased on an as-needed basis. PRICE: Price shall be net F.O.B ANY POINT IN THE TOWN OF ISLIP INCLUDING TOWN OF ISLIP FIRE ISLAND COMMUNITIES and shall remain in effect for one (1) year from date of award with the Town's option to renew for one (1) additional year under the same terms and conditions. QUANTITY: Quantity planned is estimated only; however, the contract shall be for the amount actually ordered during the contract period. SPECIFICATION REFERENCES: It is the intent to describe fence in 50 foot rolls at 4 foot high as follows: SLAT SIZE: 3/8" Thick 1 1/2 " wide 4' high Dipped in red oxide paint or unpainted. Slat spacing shall be 2" to 2 1/2 " apart and shall be held together with 12% to 13 gauge smooth galvanized wire. DEVIATIONS: Any deviations from these specifications must be covered by a letter with your bid and plainly marked to the correct area; otherwise the purchasing authority will deem the unit to be as specified and upon receipt and inspection of the unit, have the authority to return said unit for non-compliance with the specifications. BIDDER QUALIFICATIONS: Company must be authorized to do business in New York State by New York State Department of State.
