Renovation of a library in Islip, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

CONTRACT: 22-0-100 Plumbing Includes but is not limited to providing all plumbing piping and fixture work for the Libraries Bathroom Renovation project. The Overall Scope of Work of this Project All work necessary to complete the renovation of 3 existing single stall public bathrooms. Including but not limited, demolition and replacement of floor/wall tile, plumbing/electrical fixtures, and accessories, as outlined in drawings, specifications and this bid booklet (collectively known as the Bid Documents). The Islip Public Library is exempt from sales tax for materials and labor as per NYS Sales Tax codes. Provide all of the following (Note "Provide" means supply all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, insurance, overhead and profit to complete the Work of this Bid) o All existing fixture disconnects o Isolations valves o All new fixtures including carriers & existing piping modifications to accommodate o O & M Manuals. o As built drawings Work Not Included in Base Bid: o Removal/disposal of existing fixtures o Solid Surface sinks (alternate priced item) o Adding floor drains (alternate priced item) Alternate Pricing: Alternate #P-01: In lieu of providing LAV-1 provide LAV-2 inclusive of all in wall carriers/faucets/soap dispensers per plans for all three bathrooms. The purpose of the project is to Renovate Three (3) Existing Toilets. A Bid Security in the Amount of 5% of the Base Bid (for Bid Bond), or 5% of the Base Bid Up to a Maximum of $5,000 (for Bid Security Provided by Check) is Required. Contractors Must Be Registered With the Bureau of Public Work and Prevailing Wage Enforcement Prior to Bidding. Registration Certificate is to Be Submitted With Bid Package. Each Bidder Must Indicate the Segment(S) of the Contract That Will Be Completed by the Bidder Itself and Which Segment(S) by Subcontractors. Only the Registered Bidder Will Be Permitted to Submit a Bid. A Bid May Be Rejected in the Interest of the Owner Based on the Extent of Proposed Delegation of the Performance of the Contract to Subcontractors and/or Based on the Level of Qualification and Experience of the Bidder or Proposed Subcontractors. The Islip Public Library Board of Trustees' Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids Submitted in the Best Interests of the Owner and to Waive Any Informality in Any Bid and Shall Further Make Awards in Any Manner It Deems Advisable in the Best Interests of the Islip Public Library. The Successful Bidder Shall Be Required to Execute a Formal Contract With the Islip Public Library. Each Bidder Shall Agree to Hold Its Bid Price for Forty-five (45) Days After the Formal Bid Opening Q/A:- Every request for information or interpretation of the Contract Documents or Drawings must be addressed in writing to Sandpebble or emailed to: ryang@sandpebble.com and to be given any consideration, must be received at least five (5) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids.
