Site work for a civil project in Ridgway, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
As of January 30, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Separate sealed bids are required for the construction of Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements and Sanitary Sewer Replacement. All procurement is subject to regulations including the Procedures for Providing Financial Assistance from the Water Pollution Control Loan Program, the Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Act as defined by the U.S. Department of Labor, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, the IL Works Jobs Program Act (Apprenticeship Initiative), and the requirements of the "Build America, Buy America Act" as contained in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. The procurement is also subject to the Loan Recipient's policy regarding increased use of Disadvantaged Business, requiring all bidders to undertake specified affirmative efforts at least sixteen days prior to bid opening, with the policy detailed in the Specifications. Bidders must also comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246, as amended. A payment and performance bond is required for the project and must provide that the Principal pays all sums of money due or to become due for any labor in accordance with the Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Act. Copies of the contract documents may be examined at specified locations or obtained upon payment. No refunds for contract documents will be made.
